DumbNFBSKs probably sang "Rocky Top" while they were doing it.

That's pretty funny. I've seen pics of troops over there holding up Auburn and UGA flags, but this takes the cake.

Maybe it's for winning with Florida? (though now that Spurrier is gone it's not so big of a feat, but it still got front page here (Knoxville) and six pages of a Vol Report in our Knox News Sentinel - our radio stations (scroll down a bit) have been covering the water tower to death)

If true, that's an atrocious waste.

First off, its funny. The thing is how would a moderate Iraqi feel about it? I am FAR from being a PC freak, but I can't but help wonder.

He had to order the paint anyway. All he did was specify a certain paint color and the "pattern" in which it was to be painted.

It would have been much funnier if he'd painted "All your base are belong to us" on it.

Would a moderate Iraqi have a frame of reference? I mean, it's just a "T." I wouldn't have known what it was if someone hadn't told me. (Of course, I avoid sports, especially collegiate sports, like the Black Death.)

Hmmm, maybe you're right. I hope so.
