I found the conflicting information in these two articles interesting.
Though the second article looks at a particular group of Katrina survivors and the Harvard study purports to look at a broader group of people, I find too many flaws and qualifications in the Harvard study, at least as it is reported here, to make the sweeping statements about resilience that are made in the article.
