A high school chemistry teacher was arrested after students claimed he taught his class how to make a bomb.

This is a long way away from when teachers and students used to make TNT in high-school chemistry, as a demonstration.

Ammonium Tetra-chloride. When it dries, it goes BOOM! Unfortunately, it is also very unstable, and a rapid change in barometric pressure can be enough to make it blow - and I am talking just a fast moving cold front!!

We made it every year in chemistry in high-school.

I built a bomb detonator for a college class last semester. It was very fun... and educational!
