I have a problem with my kitty licking my face, mouth, eyes, & nose. It drives me nuts! I think I have found a solution until the carmex wears off tho. Any other suggestions?

I suggest putting the kitten on the floor when it starts licking. I think if you reinforce that licking is a no-no it'll learn.

My cat does that, but I don't mind too much (it's more of an occasional thing). Usually if I put a hand in between her tongue and my face, she'll stop - is yours too persistent for that to work?

I have noticed that if I use a strong smelling soap (like the orange-colored Dial liquid soap) she won't have anything to do with me until the smell fades, but I don't know if you would want to wash your face with that, it seems a bit harsh.

Like Giselle said, just separate yourself from her when she does it and she will get the idea eventually.

You know that whole "kitten licking gets you high" thing is just a UL, right?

We call it feline dermabrasion.

Really, we have a cat that did that as a kitten. She pretty much grew out of it, although she still licks us every now and then. I second the putting her down and walking away. If she loses your presence it'll enforce that licking is not appropriate behavior.
You don't mention the age of the cat. Is this a young kitten who maybe was separated from mama too early?

I'll drive it ugly. You can't see the paint job when you're behind the wheel, anyway.

Not wanting to intrude on your privacy, but have you been having sex in a tub of raw fish recently? It can have that effect on cats.
