I may have scored less than some snopesters but at least I was able to beat a 6 year old (BTW the kid didn't see me take the test). So what are the right answers? (I don't even remember a couple of my answers.) I know at least one of us got the revolutionary war question wrong.
I'm glad that in NC, at least, they are teaching these things. Unfortunatly, civics is a forgotten subject in the schools these days.

I got 7 out of 10, probably because of "gimme" questions about WW2 which in my opinion, have nothing to do with particular details of US Citizenship.
I'd like to see one of these quizzes for *Canadian* citizenship. Now that would be obscure stuff....

the thing is, I have no idea what two I got wrong. I guessed on about 4 and obviously I was hitting 50%.

Eight out of ten, right here! I had a lucky guess on #5 (well...not too lucky -- I had it narrowed down to two), and missed #7 and #9, but the rest I was pretty solid on. Not bad, considering I haven't had a Social Studies type of class for years.

***SPOILER ALERT *****

8 out of 10 here. Not too surprised given years of watching American TV. Most of it was on one sitcom or other at some stage.

I got 7 which isn't bad considering i've never studied US history or politics - as a wheeze I took the official online immigration grill (not historical, more personal)and passed with flying colours, as I did with Canada and Australia - gotta keep your options open

Me, I was manly guessing. I got the month of Inauguration wrong, as well as the year of the Constitution and the 14th State of the Union.

6/10 - failure. I know practically nothing of USAn history: I was surprised I did so well.

Bah! George Washington as the first commander in chief seemed too obvious so I second guessed myself. And I was one year off on the Constitution, but I didn't fall for 1776.
You can just go back and do trial and error with different questions to see what you got wrong.

I did a little bit better than I did the first time I took it. I got a 4 our of 10 then.I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person who would have failed. Sabrina

Too bad the actual test isn't as easy. A good friend of mine is very nervous about her test coming up. She even has to sing the national anthem. Good thing my dad was born here- if being able to carry a tune counts he'd be deported. Every song he sings sounds the same.

I failed too. I only got four out of ten. Good thing I don't plan on staying an American citizen forever (for some reason people think I'm joking when I say I want to be a citizen of Canada...)
