Alibi Network, a Chicago based company, provides a variety of alibis, for a price.

Whether you're lying to your boss or spouse, Alibi Network will provide a service designed to "protect your interests" according to their website.

"Q: What are the operational limits of the services offered by Alibi Network?

A: Legal limits. Alibi Network will not provide alibis for criminal activities."

Yeah, right. Obviously AN only works for people that are honest.

Let's say I need an alibi because I'm going to stick up a jeweler. I'll tell them that I'm going to shag some hookers in Cambodia, and need the alibi that I'm actually in London.
Police comes knocking on my door. I'll give them all the fake evidence that I was in London.
Now either
- It fools the police, in which case AN is aiding a criminal. It's probably still legal, but somehow it feels a bit dodgy to say the least.
- It doesn't fool the cops. Oh. And if it was my wife doing the checking? Would she have discoverd my alibi was fake?
