With servers in black mini-skirts, long socks and white aprons, the cafe is believed to be the first in Canada to mimic the cartoon-inspired restaurants devoted to "costume play", or cosplay, that first appeared in Japan a few years ago.
I am so going when I head up to Toronto! Any Canadian snopesters wanna go with me? I feel bad about missing the meet

They'd better post plenty of disclaimers that the "maids" don't actually clean houses. Because I'm sure the Canadian Maid Association is going to sue them because patrons might be confused into thinking they can get their house cleaned at this eatery.
