Has anyone heard of this? That's crazy.
While most of that site, like I said, is utter bull, that part is sadly not. In some places, you can be arrested for public indecency, though many places have begun specifically excluding breastfeeding from these laws.
Keep in mind that arrested does not mean convicted.
I don't think anyone was arrested for simply breastfeeding, like they were just sitting there breastfeeding minding their own business and then an officer comes up to them and starts reading them their rights. They might be ticketed for indecent exposure, but they wouldn't be arrested unless they escalated the issue. Unless the officer thought that breastfeeding is indecent exposure meant to annoy and/or molest?

Even so - a ticket for "indecent exposure" because of breastfeeding? That's ridiculous - I had no idea that kind of stuff happens.

Funny that I see this topic tonight! The fam and I went out to supper (much) earlier, and there was a VERY large-busted woman there that was quite obviously not wearing a bra. Large as in near-the-navel. First of all, I don't know HOW she was comfortable like that. Second of all, it was quite obvious that though she could use the support, she didn't have a bra on. It was like watching a train wreck... Not at all attractive. Kind of reminded me of one of those balls-on-strings gadgets used to demonstrate conservation of momentum...
I looked at the Discover site, and I cannot imagine trying to run on a treadmill without a bra. YOWCH!!!!!! (Of course, I happen to be about a DDD.) Never thought I'd be posting my bra size ANYWHERE... According to my mother (great authority, huh?) she can't tell whether I'm wearing a bra or not, but I sure can. I don't like to wear them, and find them quite uncomfortable (perspiration in particular does bad things to the band that goes underneath) and I usually take mine off as soon as I can at the end of the day.
Due to modesty reasons, though, I will NOT go out in public without one. Not even to the mailbox. I've also noticed that on the occasions that I get to stay home for several days and can go braless, after a while it gets uncomfortable. My back starts hurting, and even my "chest" region begins to get sore.
When I began developing (probably around 8-10 years old) I fought the bra as much as I could. I felt like everyone knew that I was wearing one, and they just felt WEIRD. When you other ladies were developing, did it hurt? Mine sure did! Finally one day a guy friend made a crude comment about how he could see my "nibbles" (yes, he called them "nibbles") so on came the bra, and on it stayed. Better the embarrassment of the bra than having something so personal be visible. (For me, at least!)
(OT)Oooh, ooh, I just thought about something I need to post in the UL NFBSK! Something about underwire bras...(/OT)
I like the idea of the tops with the built-in bras, but I wonder about the comfort and the support-- if they really support, just how comfortable are they going to be? That, and I usually buy my tops a size or two larger than I need. I'm not sure how those tops are proportioned.
So back on topic, this gal ain't planning to burn her bra anytime soon! (Me, jogging without a bra, = two black eyes! ) (Or at least an extremely painful chest!)
And sorry guys, but I'm big everywhere, so don't go picturing Chesty Morgan...

A good friend of mine with large breast, thou I do not think as large as yours. I'm guessing D to DD. Because I'm a engineer, she keep complaning (expcialy in the summer) that I should design a bra for her with air conditioning. I could see designing a water cooled bra, but were could you hide the heat exchanger?
I have done a lot of hiking in the past. A new house has kept me from that the last 2 years. During the summer I will see alot of women on warm day strip down to their bra while hiking. Since a most all the bras are sports bras or extra heavy duty things. There is not much of intrest to see for us males. I have seen a few sports bras on the larger women with a mess lower half. I would assume it was there for better ventulation.

My chest hurt often as it was developing, from ages 8-14. I didn't like to sleep on my stomach.
Bra tops do not seem like they would work well for large-chested women. I wear them sometimes and they either crush my boobs or don't support very much. At least that's my experience with the ones that just have a shelf bra, like a sports bra, built in. I've never tried a top that had an underwire built in.
