A Sentinel High School teacher, charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly giving a student a hickey, has resigned.

The story is strange. When I think of a headlock, I think of the way most people would administer a headlock - you wrap your arm around a person's head, holding your forearm so the person's head is "locked" in the crook of your elbow. I'm not sure how one would give a hickey to the headlock recipient in that position, because the victim's neck would be completely covered with your own arm... you could put it on their face, I suppose...

I was so distracted imagining a teacher giving a student a hickey I completely didn't even think of that, Alterashley, but it's a good point.

The way I saw it was the guy comes up behind the student and grabs him. He puts his neck kind of in the crook of his arm, but putting his hand around the back of his head so that the side/back of the student's neck is exposed.

Did that make any sense?

That's how I would assume it would be easiest done anyway...
