This is a video clip of Jimmy Kimmel being bitten by a very large snake. The people at the Viral Video forum seem to think it's a sketch. We don't get Kimmel in Atlanta. Did anyone see it actually happening? There seem to be no legitimate media pages concerning this incident.

I'm going to go with fake on this one - the snake looked completely ridiculous, like a giant, rubber facsimile of a snake. I've no doubt that Jimmy Kimmel knows what a rattlesnake's telltale warning is for. Again, I say that this is a dupe. The EMT's were nice and professional acting, though.

While looking for a news piece about this incident, I found this page. The poster says this:

This makes the most sense to me. The snake and the "wildlife expert" seemed fake to me all round.

I knew the minute I saw the handler restraining the snake with the collar that it was a fake. You can see his arm isn't restraining the "snake" so much as moving it around. Like a puppetmaster with a marionette only the string is the control stick. There is no movement of the snake beyond the head part: tail not moving, body not trying to coil, etc.
I think it's pretty good acting by all involved though.

Staged.I saw this episode. Jimmy had the cast of Greys Anatomy on and he interviewed them at the hospital after being bitten. He did that to set up for the interviews, when I saw that it scared the hell out of me because Jimmy is the man.
