Took a long time to track down the facts associated with some pictures I received of the tennis court on top of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubia. The pictures I received had no dialog and would lead one to believe the tennis courts were permanent and for use by all guests.
The story and some pictures can be found at:

Real photographs. Real helicoptor landing pad. Publicity tennis set up on said helipad.

Real expensive room rates. The lowest I saw was over $1000 a night.

Oosh. I'd want a harness and safety line to play there.

I saw that hotel on travel channel or something one time. It showed the guys that have to clean the windows... talk about scary! And talk about expensive...

I'd be scared out of my mind to play tennis on that!

It doesn't appear that there's any safety barrier. High up, the wind is generally stronger. I wouldn't be up there mucking about with tennis balls (I might get on and off a chopper, but run/leap/dive near the edge? Nuh-uh!!)

At least if you fall you'll land in the ocean. The ball unfortunately would be the only thing to survive. wonder if you can tennis it far deep onto the beach.
