That's what I was thinking. I've worked fast food and it seems that there is no way a worm could have survived the food preparation process without being noticed -- unless it was hiding in some lettuce. But that is highly unlikely. On the other hand, I once worked at a place where the other employees didn't care about anything except collecting a paycheck. If they had seen something like a worm in the lettuce I doubt they would have even paid any attention to it and maybe would have allowed something like that to get into the food.

1) It was not a worm. It was a larva. 2) It most probably came from the lettuce. 3) Whatever it was the nutitional value is probably higher than that of the burger.

ok, she ate almost the whole thing? she said it was "infected" with littl green worms, WORMS as in more then one. why would you eat almost the whole thing, knowing that it was "infected"? im sorry but i dont buy this story.
