A woman from England is claiming that the energy put out by wireless routers and similar technology are making her, and many others sick.
Campaigning group ElectroSensitivityUK, is alleging a conspiracy of silence about the harmful affects of wireless technology and is advising parents to remove the technology from homes with children.

Aside from a couple extra nipples and a third eyebrow, I don't see any noticeable differences since I started using Wifi . . .
My daughter DID develop the ability to teleport herself to different areas of the apartment in the blink of an eye but then again, she IS a four-year-old.

And yet another health scare based on little more than anecdotes. Its like the people who complain about mobile phone base stations, ignoring the fact that by the time you are at ground level signals are pretty much at background levels.

There has been studies made at Uppsala University, Sweden, about this. Several test subjects with claims of oversensitivity to electromagnetic fields were placed in a room next to a source of EM fields. Sometimes the source was on, sometimes off, they were told if it was on and off but where randomly lied to, and they were asked about how they felt.
To make a long story short, there was a strong correlation to what they were told and no correlation to the actual state of the EM source. Several test subjects became so ill that they hade to stop the test, one even became so ill (before the EM source was even switched on...) that an ambulance was called.
In other words, evidence points to it being a real problem, but the source of the problem is in their head, not in electric equipment.

-A tinfoil, cone-shaped hat (generally utilized for the purpose of blocking alien transmissions and mind-reading) may confer the added benefit of alleviating these medical issues.

Of course the problem is in their heads. Where else do you think the waves are being directed?
Of course, you would dismiss their concerns. You're one of them ...

A pet peeve of mine. When I see a group of protesters on the news campaigning that a mobile phone mast not be built in their area I would dearly like to ask some questions of them: Do any of them own mobile phones? If not disregard the rest.
Of those who own mobile phones, how the heck do they think they will able to use them if the service providers don't build base stations? Would they be happy to have poor or non-existant coverage in their area?
Sorry for hijack. Maybe I've been exposed to too much 2.4 Ghz, what with the wireless connection, the VoIP, the microwave oven and the cordless phone. My house is a death-trap!

If we believe people can have a sense of direction (being able to find north blindfolded) or have a sense of when weather is about to change, I don't think EM sensitivity is totally out of the question. Besides, we already know animals have senses we don't quite understand, like how service dogs sense seizures before they happen.

It's easier to just get them to disperse. Just hold up a mobile phone and say "Go away, or I will call...". You don't even have to call the police, just call anyone. That'll have them running.

Sensitivity is one thing, being oversensitive to the point of being sick is another.

I have the sensitivity. I mentioned it in a thread ages ago.
I also agree with Troberg. I've yet to find a source of EMF strong enough to make me nauseous. At best, I get the feeling of something being in the room, but that's it.
Additionally, I've never noticed a change in "feeling" whenever I've turned on my laptop and activated the WiFi.

It didn't work. I couldn't get a signal!

Are you sure it's the EM field? I've heard people who could "feel" when the computer is on, but when the fan died and the harddisk was replaced with a solid state disk, they lost the feeling. Basically, they noticed the parts that made sound.
