There are 58,494 people in the US with the first name Robyn. There are 0 people in the US with my last name.
There are also no people in the US with my mom's maiden name.
Then again...their data is off. There are currently 300,077,664 people in the US (when I looked at this website). The names database says there are 299,968,595 people in the U.S.

There is no one in the US with my first name. (I know of two others. One once wrote a kid's book, and the other is an artist who does leatherwork sculptures. She was really psyched when we met.) There are 41,996 people with my last name. And no one with my full name.
There are 40 people with my husband's name, which doesn't surprise me, because one of them lives just down the road a bit.

Shame it doesn't include middle names. There are more people with my first and last name in the UK than there are in the USA (according to that, anyway) - 486 in the USA and 498 in the UK.

I suppose I should go with this. Those who call me Mitchell die anyway, so it's not really my name (except legally).
No one in the U.S. has my last name. And that's true. Only 8 people in Canada share my last name, and they're all related to me.

4,923,984 have my first name - Hey, it is very common
420 have my last name - Considering how many different spellings the name has taken over 800 years, I'm not surprised that there are so few.
7 people have my full name - hey, I'm almost special
ETA: According to the UK search, there are only 10 people with the same full name as me - I'm "as rare as a wombats wingnut"
When I put my board name in to both searches, it proved that I am unique. As the UK search revealed, "You don't exist. Go and look in the mirror. If you see something then we're wrong else you're some kind of magic pixie, elf, carrot or vampire. Sorry."

513 people in the US with my full name. 223 in the UK. But apparently I didn't exist before getting married because there are no people in the US or UK with my maiden name (and I was still using it in 1990). If you google my maiden name you get my dad (about eleventy-thousand times) and an area in southwestern Germany. A few years back, you could also get one of my dad's cousins and some girl in South America (Argentina?). I guess they've gotten pushed to the back of the pack.

My 7 year old: 8,999 with her first name & same # as above with the last. 28 people who share her same name, including a "B" list actress.
For my wife: 412,457 with her first name. 1,283 with the same name. No famous people though. If you use her maiden name then there are 5,669 with her last name & 8 other people with the same first & last.
My Step-Daughter is the funny one...according to the site there is no one in the US with her first OR last name. Apparently, her Dad's side of the family doesn't exist, & neither does she. I know there are other girls with her first name, a quick search of MySpace proves that.

Cubino There are 0 people in the U.S. with the last name Cubino. This name is not found in our database, this means the name is relatively uncommon. what this means.
AND, it also says that "There are 299,968,595 people in the U.S". I thought the 3 millionth person was just born a few weeks ago?

Wow, that's one more than I've ever known of before. My last name is extremely rare on the West Coast, but evidently it's relatively common in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas (Dad's paternal family is all in GA). I can almost guarantee that at least 90% of that 1,770 with my last name is in one of those three states.
Edited because I do know of one person with my name.
EAgain - I checked my Dad's name, and evidently he doesn't exist. This is what it said: "While both names you entered were found in our database, neither was common enough to make it likely that someone in the U.S. has that name." It isn't likely that my dad has his name?

0 people with my last name in the US or UK. Its a simple variation on a common group of names, but for some reason this particular spelling is uncommon. The "?" form, "S?" form, "?s" form, "Mc?", etc, are quite common, along with many others, but "S?s" variant is unique for some reason. Everyone in the US with my last name is a close relative. I'm the only one with my first and last name combination even though my first name is extremely common.

This really surprised me! I'm female and I was named after a female, but "Patrice" is technically a unisex name. All the French, Belgian, and Swiss Patrices that I've found googling have been male.
Maybe it's like "Taylor," where it used to be primarily a male name but most babies named that now are female.
I think it's more likely that you're talking french vs english versions. There are plenty of names that are opposite gender between french and english. Alexis is one. I recall a Belgian and a French Canadian being surprised that was my niece's name.

The list of names from the census bureau isn't complete. For privacy reasons, names with relatively few responses were not included in the list. We used this data to create this site. Our site can only be as good as the data we have to work with.
Around 1 out of every 10 people will have a last name not on the list. Around 1 out of every 10 people will have a first name not on the list. Using the same statistical fallacy this site is known for, that means about 81% of people will have both names on the list. In a mathematical coup our scientists have determined from this information that about 19% of people will have either one or both names missing from the list.
"I think it's important not to take it as a rejection of you personally." Gabriel Caine -- Diggstown.
Q: Does the program really know how many people have the same name as me?
No. The program returns an estimate based on available data. It should be considered a "ballpark figure". It will usually return an answer in the right general area, but the chances of the figure being exactly right are very low.
A full discussion of the accuracy of the program may be found here.
But there are approximately 599 people with my full name.

"Patrice" is unisex- it's just waaaaay more common as a man's name in French-speaking places. What surprised me was that statistically no Frenchies have named their sons Patrice here in America.
