The RPG thing stuck out to me too.

I'm going to jump on the nitpicking bandwagon for a moment. I understand the premise of the FCC issue from last week and accept it, but I can't think of any time that I've ever seen a live interview with a soldier in a potentially hostile area. Inside a base, sometimes, but never in a place where someone could potentially die on national live TV. (Essentially, I'm pretty sure the actual reason that you never see this in reality is to avoid the exact situation that happened on the show.)

Ok, just watched the Christmas episode...

from memory, but bear with me (my thoughts in paras)

"the Immaculate Conception?? doesn't have anything to do with the birth of Crist." (ok, the show's gonna explain some Catholicism to the crowd.... this should be fun, and by fun I mean excruciating)

"um, I think it does." (well, no it doesn't, but I'm sure they're about to explain this, since this show's great about dropping facts on us, since we're too stupid to know them ourselves.)

"No, blah blah blah...ancient Hebrew says that Mary was young, and not a virgin."

Ok.....for the last time..The Immaculate Conception does not refer to Jesus' conception...It refers to the fact that Mary was born without sin. Ancient Hebrew has nothing to do with it, because it wasn't made dogma until the 1800s.

Tiny nitpick....I suspect the tuba player in the New Orleans band was a ringer...I noticed that he wasn't treated to any loving closeups, and in the long shots, his fingering looked a little suspicious.
