I hate tomatoes, but will eat any tomato-y condiment (tomato sauce, ketchup, etc).

I hate tootsie rolls, but I love the red candy on tootsie pops.

...dammit! I can't think of anymore. I'll be back!

Potatos. I hate hate hate hate potatos.

French fries are my favorite food.

It's really more that frying them gets rid of the potatoey taste. I can't eat mashed potatos because they taste like potatos. I can eat french fries and certian types of hash browns because they don't taste like potatos.

Oh! Ennio Morricone is a genius! I love him dearly. Although, I really enjoy a good spaghetti Western.

Have you tried the Kill Bill soudtracks? QT uses him quite a lot. Actually, don't get the soudtracks - they eliminate several key songs. I made my own and arranged them out in chronological order. Ehm...Kill Bill nerd moment over now.

What a coincidence...that's my project for this week. Only I'm arranging my songs in the order that sounds best to me, regardless of their place in the film.

Eh, I'm open to pretty much everything except raw mushrooms and I don't have any exceptions for that.

I have music in all genres, movies in all genres, books in all genres, and although I *want* to hate reality TV, I have enjoyed American Idol, Americas Next Top Model, The Surreal World (and Strange Love and Flavor of Love), and... well more than I like to admit.

Wait! I hate fish, but tuna salad is totally one of my favorite foods. Phew! I was starting to think I was weird.

I hate a lot of the cheeses you're "supposed" to like if you have class--chevre, brie, etc. I like the lowbrow stuff better--Velveeta, American cheese and the like. I hate feta cheese plain, but I love it in other dishes.

I also like the candy you can get at the drugstore or supermarket much better than the fancy designer chocolates like Godiva.

Back to movies--count me in as another person who hates most televised sports (apart from the Olympics and the Triple Crown) but enjoys sports movies. I think the appeal of the movies is that the major part of them is the interesting backstories; the actual sports are condensed into the most exciting bits.

When I was young some of my friends couldn't understand why I liked playing with He-Man figures but didn't like the cartoons.

This was because the cartoons aways seemed to run to the same "we can't work out how to stop Skelitor's plan until 2 minutes before the end" formula, which got boring very quickly.

With the toys there was a lot more freedom.

Almost the same applies with Transformers & Gobots, which also seemed to have a "Heros act like a bunch of idiots until the last few scenes" rule, along with they way TV-AM used to chop the episodes up & show them randomly in the Wide Awake Club.

Not really interested in sports at all, but I am obsessed with the Mets. I work two full time jobs, one overnight, so I get extremely little sleep. That being said, I forgo sleep just to watch my team play, (and hopefully win). I talk nonstop about the Mets, yell and cheer loudly watching the games, and I even had my housekey made with the Mets logo on it. And I am obsessed with Shawn Green too, I absolutely love him. He is a great asset to the team and pretty cute too. Okay, now I'm going off on a tangent, sorry, told you I was obsessed. [lol]

I quite enjoy celery (it is often my vegetable of choice when presented with a veggie tray and dip) but can't stand them mixed with anything - stirfrys, tuna salad sandwiches, soups etc.

I love tomatoes but I don't like eating canned/diced tomatoes (like in spaghetti sauce). But the weird thing is that if the canned/diced tomatoes are in the sauce, I'll still eat them as long as its mixed in with a bunch of other stuff. If I have a straggler diced tomatoe sitting on my plate, I won't eat it. Same goes for straggler green peppers.

Someone mentioned The Eagles earlier. I find myself saying that I don't like The Eagles (especially Hotel California), but then I find myself tapping my foot if a song of theirs comes on the radio. Maybe it's just Hotel California that I don't like.
