> On a Canadian two dollar bill, the flag flying over the Parliament building is an American flag.

Covered elsewhere; not true.

> All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill.

Actually, I believe this is not correct; it only lists the states of the union as of the time of the building of the memorial, which, if I am correct, was before AK and HI. I may be wrong here, and will research.

> It's impossible to sneeze with your eyes open.

Completely possible. Uncomfortable, but possible. You can prop your eyes open with a soft plastic cone, and sneeze all you want.

> The giant squid has the largest eyes in the world.

Unless "Nessie" is a pleisiosaur...

> There are 336 dimples on a regulation golf ball.

Covered elsewhere; not necessarily so.

Not impossible, apparently, but nonetheless quite difficult. Uncle Cecil covers it here. According to him,

quote:
it's just about impossible to hold your eyelids open while you sneeze. They snap shut by reflex.

I think he means hold your eyelids open without the assistance of soft plastic cones or similar devices.

BTW, Silas, dare I ask why you were propping your eyes open with soft plastic cones? Or don't I want to know?

Grin! I'm a contrarian; in school, I tried to "square the circle" and prove Fermat's Last Theorem. (Failed, of course.) But I still like to try to do things people say are "impossible."

(Then again, maybe I'm just stupid?)
