It looks like a Disneyland castle grafted onto a medieval cathedral. Its builder is an 81-year-old man who has spent four decades working on it mostly by himself, without planning permission, architect's drawings or previous construction experience.

Awesome - though I hope it's structurally sound. Here's an excellent picture of it on wiki. It looks like it belongs in Arcosanti, an experimantal town in Arizona with the same type construction. I like how guys like them were doing sustainable design way before it became a buzz word for corporate architects.
