Me and a couple of my friends love to visit scary places. We are trying to find some. I live in Pulaski, Tn. If anyone knows of any, please let me know. Any where around Pulaski or in Alabama. Thanks

Chloe spanked me somewhat, but Pulaski, itself, is scary to me.
A couple of years ago, I took Li'lRdr to a special presentation at the Tennessee State Museum that was all about Ghost Stories Set in Tennessee, and, for the life of me, I cannot remember them. I think one involved James K. Polk, though...

Try The Shadowlands. A lot of the stories are user-submitted and obviously questionable as to whether they really occurred or not (many of the "sightings" are UL material) but there are some locations that really do have some scary histories attached to them.

There are the Chapel Hill ghost lights, but I dont know which railroad crossing they are located, the Bell Witch cave, which is open to the public occasionally, I dont know when though, and I have no Earthly idea how the cave came into being the haunted spot since it never came into play in the original legend, Franklin, TN does a haunted tour of the Carnton plantation around Halloween,Not in TN but close, the Chicamauga battlefield just a few miles south of Chattanooga is ectremely haunted, beware of ole Green Eyes on Snodgrass hill. The Shiloh battlefield is also haunted, We also have a fairly new ghost tour in Nashville, I havent been on it but hear it's pretty good.

The Bell Witch Cave is supposed to be the most haunted place in America.
Try www.prarieghosts.com for more. They might be able to help. There's alot of Chicago-area stuff, but I'm sure you can find something else!

I grew up in Chapel Hill, where the ghost light is. That is pretty neat to see. I've seen it many times. In fact, the tracks that you see the light on was less than a 1/4 mile from my house...about 300 yards. If you don't know how to get there I can tell ya. Once you are on Main Street in Chapel Hill, turn on Depot St, there is a diner right on the corner. Follow it down until you hit the tracks. I moved away about years ago but I hear that the police patrol the area pretty good, so you might want to find somewhere to park and maybe walk down to it. But coming from town, once you hit the tracks, the light will be down the right side of the tracks. The best times to see it are between 12 and 2 am. Tennessee has all kinds of freaky places. I actually just found a good site yesterday that lists 'em all. Here is the link:

there's supposed to be a ghost of a little girl in the Orpheum Theater in Memphis. apparently she was hit by a car outside the theater, so now she lives there and sees all the shows. i've never seen her, though.

There is a place, I forget where it was. Somewhere in the Scott County area. They tell ghost stories every year and the town is a preserved historical site, where ghosts of the townsfolk who used to live there can supposedly sometimes be seen.
Honestly, it was pretty lame. If you want a real spook, your best bet is to just take a hike in the woods by yourself late at night.

I remember hearing something about a place called "Tait's Lane" or something like that. It's supposed to be a narrow road somewhere in some thick woods and it ends in this field, but supposedly the KKK or some cult or something does rituals in the field and so they set out logs to where you can't get into the field and turn your car around, so you have to drive back to the main road backwards.
Sounds spooky, I guess.
