yeah. I get the same message from people all the time. and even when I show them it's not gonna happen, these same people still send it to me a month later! and usually their excuse is "just in case".

Tim's been changing jobs lately. He used to be "director of Yahoo" who was notifying people that Yahoo was shutting down email service due to "too many people are taking up all the names." He's also been running Bebo, a site for sharing personal profiles. He's shutting Bebo down as well.
There must be quite a few people looking for Tim on Google. A number of porn sites have "Tim Buiski" as a meta tag so they show up on search engines.

If my account is closed, why will they be charging me $10 a month to use it?
And why does MSN not believe in periods? You'd think they would hire an editor before threatening our e-mail.

This kind of hoax is the dumbest. I mean it. Why write such an email, and send it off, if you're not going to try to make money off of it? And, this email has extremely bad grammar, poor spelling, and ambiguity. How could anyone think that this would be convincing, or find this convincing? An absolute twit could only do so. Really, how dumb are some people? Very dumb, I guess, as We've Got Mail! shows. And, how will this affect my Hotmail account? I understand that Hotmail is under the MSN brand.

The people who send me this are the same people who send me the one about the internet shutting down for cleaning around April fools day and don't get that it is a joke. And yes, they are dumb enough to believe it.

I hate it when the re-post has the person's sn they got it from...also some messages get cut off and they send it like that. I get in trouble for spam when I send and entire email back to everyone with a link proving how dumb it is! Guess you can't get rid of stupid.

The sad thing. I am working at the Tech Department at our Internetoffice. So one should assume a certain degree of knowledge
Yet one of them send this e-mail out a few days ago and then was upset because I set him right.
Well I was still friendly so he had no reason to complain. Especially since most of my anger got lost while knocking my head on the table.

I am amazed at people who get angry when you set them straight. You would think they would be happy to get correct information. Yet, they act like you are the bad person or a no it all for taking the extra few seconds to check out the validity of an email.

I can't help of think of this quote when I hear things like this.

Not only is the email fake with grammar mispells, it is not official as it doesn't come with the official MSN letterhead to your (msn.com) account.
