I heard somewhere, probably read it too, that there is a high suicide rate for dentists...they at least rank in the top ten (In professions with high suicide at least) And the reason they would comitt suicide is because lots of people are always saying that they hate dentists...is any of this true?

How is the rate high? Lots of dentists kil themselves, or lots of people who kill themselves are dentists?
Also, if people saying they hate a profession is enough to inspire suicide, shouldn't lawyers kill themselves more than dentists? I've heard more "I hate lawyers" jokes/comments than "I hate dentists" jokes/comments.
Or are you secretly an anti-Dentite, and it's just wishful thinking?
