I don't know that I've ever given a gift to any or my brothers once we were all adults. It just always seemed to us as another unnecesary expense.

Beach- Do your brothers give your kids gifts?
My brother and Mr S's brother are single and do not have kids, but they give our kids gifts so we give them a gift.

Yes and no. I have one brother who buys gifts for my kids and I buy gifts for his kids. I do not give gifts to the kids of my other brothers, nor do they give my kids gifts.
If he didn't have kids and gave gifts to mine, I would recipricate with gifts to him though.

My suggestion is to give the couple a $20 gift basket and add the $30 gift card to the basket. A $50 gift to two people isn't anything to sneeze at (at least in my world). You end up saving $10 per couple than if you gave each person a gift card. The ten could be put towards shipping if needed I guess.
Maybe you could cutesy a gift basket up. Sparkling wine, cider, whatever, with champagne glasses, a Visa gift card and a note saying "For your New Year's Celebration"
