There's a broadcast on NPR that suggests fundamentalists in Iraq are insisting (with the threat of violence) that shepherds put diapers on their goats to prevent the animals tempting lonely men.

Commentators and blog writers are having a field day with this story: http://time.blogs.com/daily_dish/ (story about a third of the way down the page)

This is all seems just too convenient. And I can't find any corroborating evidence, other than comment that refers back to the original broadcast. Is anybody aware of anything concrete?

I would find a diaper on a goat a lot more kinky than just a goat, but YMMV, etc.
