No, you cannot walk on custard. You used to be able to remain motionless on it, but the ingredients have been reformulated so this is no longer possible. So we speak nostalgically of "Custard's Last Stand."

If you have ever planted zucchini in a home garden, you know that when it gets ripe, you suddenly get a lot more than you can eat by yourself! Typically, folks bring bags full to work or give it away to neighbors. Or... if they have trouble giving it away, they leave a sackful on a neighbor's porch in the middle of the night!

Comment: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Mikkelson,

The short story is that PepsiCo changed the formula of Diet Mountain Dew
two months ago, alienating me and thousands of others who consumed huge
quantities of the stuff. (In my case, I've spent more than $20,000 to
consume more than 5,400 gallons of it over the past 19 years.)

I have protested with http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/.

I've made a considerable effort to keep the site content elevated and
witty, and I'd love for the intelligent and action-oriented snopes.com
readership to see it, because it will certainly mean more pressure on
PepsiCo.

We had an excellent column in my local newspaper a few weeks ago:

http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/hsvtimes.html

Site highlights:

How did it probably happen?
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/how.html

Are there unintended consequences for PepsiCo here?
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/cons.html

Did Nostradamus write about Diet Mountain Dew?
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/foretold.html

Did Diet Mountain Dew really send me to the emergency room?
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/er.html

What can we expect in the months to come?
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/pace.html

Is this New Coke II?
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/newcoke.html

I've also done two well-received video shorts:
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/bigcola.html
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/open.html

Links to everything I've done for the site are on the front page at
http://NewDietDewIsYucky.com/. Thank you kindly for your consideration.

Comment: I was told that Samual L. Jackson's Lightsaber in the new star
wars films has engraved on the bottom BMF, in tribute to his Pulp Fiction
character's wallet. I heard it originated on a David Letterman episode
and after a few searches on the subject, found out that the star wars
community is quite divided on it. Please confirm or disprove and settle
this debate once and for all.

Yes. Beer wearing a coozy has a much better chance of getting a date. Because they're hot.

For practice it won't matter, since target area in sabre is above the waist only a tear in your knickers shouldn't matter. - If you plan on fencing in a tournament you need to get them mended -
