Comment: It is sad that people like you sit around trying to think of ways to ruin people's views on CHRISTmas traditions. Why on earth would the candy cane be so closely related to CHRISTmas if it had nothing to do with CHRIST? I think that maybe, just maybe, if you focused a little less on feeding your brain with useless knowledge (that couldn't be proven anyway because who are you to say what the original candy-maker was thinking when making the candy cane?)then maybe your brain might gain some realization and tell your body to grow a heart.

Oh my word. That has got to be the dumbest bit of logic I've seen in a while. Because, of course, snow and Christmas trees are representive of Christ, right? And wreaths?
Good Lord.

Insecure much? And my word, it's like they're not even reading the page.
And I would figure the more useless knowledge is the belief in an urban legend. But what do I know?

Comment: Do you believe in Jesus yourselves? Because after reading all of that jargon about candy canes not representing Jesus it just seems to me that your trying to tear down any kind of christian symbolism. Were you around when the candycane was invented? Then I wonder how authentic your reliable sources truely are. The only thing that really matters is what it means to us as individuals so you can just believe whatever you want but I believe it to be a wonderful story and lesson that shows us Christ's love.

Upon reading some of the e-mails that get posted in this forum, I often find myself saying, "Jesus Christ!"
Does that count?

This argument really burns me up.
You have your cites and sources, but you weren't there, so they can't be good.
I have this book from 2,000 years ago, but even though I wasn't there when it was written, God tells me it's superior to your cites and sources.
May the gods of logic have mercy on their souls.

Ah, but those would be false gods and a good Christian would have nothing to do with them.
