Oh, It's probably been suggested before, but I'm lucky if I get to peek in for 10 minutes every couple of days.
How about a "help me find this" type of area?
I love the fact that snopesters can find dang near anything, but hate to start a thread just to ask for help when my google ability hits a wall. I'd be more inclined to start one in an area reserved just for that type of thing.
It would be good for things like locating old articals, etc.
What do ya think?

Isn't that what the Unhijackable Threads are for?

I wouldn't have thought of using the unhijackable threads for that since they get so long and a question would easily get lost.

HNah, it's the best place for a quickie question - heaps of people check in at that thread at least once every time they log on, and generally, someone will answer, or, if not, you can always just keep asking until someone does
If you're worried that you won't find your quesiton when you come back, days/pages later, you can usually find it fast through your recent posts log.

I guess the main reason I asked was to keep from messing up good threads. Such as like might happen if I asked for help locating a essay/joke sarcastic religious slam type thing that went around email awhile back. I wanted to read it again to double check something else I had read.
I wouldn't want to throw a perfectly good thread into a tizzy (sorry Tizzy!) by starting a debate/arguement about the content of that email.
That kind of thing

Huh? Is that what the unhijackable thread is for? I thought it was for posting news about snopester's lives, fluff-bunnies and look-at-me posts. I didn't know that the unhijacklable thread was an "useful" thread. I should check that thread once in a while now.

I'm trying to find something on the unhijackable thread now. I'm very search-challenged when it comes to finding older threads here Hopefully it will work!
