Maybe. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what l**d was supposed to be, since that bears no resemblance to anything even remotely obscene that I can think of. And don't talk to me like I'm stupid. I am, in fact, capable of noticing NFBSK at least once in the almost 2 1/2 years I've been here. It annoys the hell out of me. Say what you want to say, or use a phrase without words you're uncomfortable with.
Sorry, I haven't been back to this thread since I posted that. I did notice your registration date. If it had been two weeks, I would just assumed you didn't know and said "we use NFBSK as a swear replacement". That's why I said ", right?" I thought you'd probably know, but I wasn't sure because honestly, it was pretty obvious to me what that meant.

...are you sure? How do you think he maintains his high, juvenile voice?

Yes I saw this all over the news today, I think Jacko has lost it completely, if he ever had it.

This new photo is the most disturbing one yet! Is it real (not altered)? What is the back story on this?

I showed that first photo to my friend, and all she had to say was this: "Next, his face is just going to look like a smiley face with two eye dots and a mouth."
"A spokesperson for the company organising the award said that Jackson was with his children at the time the photograph was taken. "
Okay, so, I could guess he wanted to let his kids wave to the adoring crowd of fans, but not let media photograph them. That makes some sense.
But to hang the baby out over the fourth floor balcony rail does NOT!!!

The NFBSK in that case wasn't confusing part. I could not even begin to think of a 4 letter word starting with l and ending in d that would be worthy of asterisks. Once someone pointed it our it made sense, but I was sitting here trying to figure out if there was a dirty word I didn't know about.

I think it was very obvious that the word was supposed to be "lord." You could've saved everyone a lot of time by just saying "I don't think you should have censored lord." You don't have to play stupid to get your point across.
(Edit- Sorry, that came out much meaner than I meant it to be. Please don't take too much offence from it.
P.S: snopes, are you aware that my current ranking is also a rather obscure Weird Al song?)

No, no! Don't apologize! Be mean! I've got a bet riding on this thread!

Psst...we covered this already...look up about 6 or 7 posts...
And now my comments: Jacko's gone wacko. I saw this on the commercials for the news about six times (details at nine) and I was just beyond convinced that he has finally gone mad. Turning yourself into a monkey is one thing, but deliberately putting your child in danger is another. Sheesh.

Excuse me? Added edit or no, I *do* take a certain amount of offense from that. I wasn't 'playing stupid'. That someone might be censoring 'lord' never occured to me until it was suggested as a possibility. Hence *asking what the hell the word was supposed to be in the first place*.

I really didn't meant anything by it and I'm sorry I ever said it. I would have deleted it, but I think once something's been posted it's been said, no matter how much someone regrets it later on. I guess I could have just said "waffles" but at the time I did mean to post it up and I'm not one to cover up even my dumbest moments.
I really am sorry.

I just got up this morning and saw, for the first time, the news article on tv about Jackson dangling his baby over the balcony. (and yes, I know, it has already been commented on above..)
I couldn't believe it! What a Barm-pot! (Yorkshire-speak for "NFBSK- wit")
I think (IMHO) we should worry more about the state of his mental faculties' stability than how stable the surgery on his nose is....
There was a bit of Hyperbole, mind you, on the news report.
They said the child was at risk of plummeting(sp?) 100 feet to the ground from the fourth (as reported in some reports) or the fifth floor (in others)
Well... excuse me, but that is a very wild and innacurate GUESS-timate...
OK, I am afraid of heights...I got dizzy (back in the good old days, when I was not in the wheelchair) when I wore platform heels(!!!!) so I would not want to plummet ONE floor, let alone five. But even working at an upper estimate of 10 feet per storey, a fifth floor would be no higher than 50 feet up, so, unless Jackson has superpowers (Maybe that's what's with the nose...!! he's had super-mutant psychic powers implanted.....lol MMmm, maybe not....) and could throw the kid up an extra 50 feet, ther's no way the lid can be in peril of falling 100 feet.
I know, picky, picky, picky. My SO plays pop with me because I am very pedantic about the grammatical use of english.
It's just that I simply hate it when news channels never let the truth or the facts get in the way of a good story.

Where would we be now if they did? We'd have almost nothing to say here if they cared about accurate facts over a good story!
Said it in one of of the Jacko-chowed threads, but I'll say it again-he's gone completely over the edge and should no longer be allowed around children. He may have good intentions, but it appears that his mental state has completely impaired his judgement.

"the most well-intentioned"?? Does anybody think that's how to describe him? Although he was never convicted of anything, I still can't get it out of my head that he was accused of child molestation.
If this were you or me I think we would be in jail or getting counseling after all this. But it seems that MJ is so rich and famous that no one will convince him that he needs help.
I wonder what the more sane members of his family think. It looks like Janet would be trying to get him help--aren't they on pretty good terms?
