Comment: My husband works with a man who recently told him that Ponderosa
Restaurants use Kangaroo meat for their steaks. This person says that he
used to work for Ponderosa and that where he got his information. I
thought this was highly unlikely since kangaroo meat would seem to be more
expensive to use since it would have to be imported.

Kangaroo doesn't taste that much like beef, so unless they really marinated the heck out of it, it would probably be noticed.

Kangaroo does taste pretty good though. The two times I have had it, it was a bit costlier than beef, especially the cheap beef sold at Ponderosa.
