I ran across the following quote recently in a newsletter:

Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.

--- Abraham Lincoln

I also found it here:

Am I the only one who finds this rather un-Lincoln like in its wording? Also it seems like the word "hustle" is a relatively new affectation of the English language. The quote sounds more like a Vince Lombardi type saying to me.
