Two firefighters poured gasoline down a firehouse drain, leading to an explosion a few blocks away that badly burned two people.

Anybody wanna move to White Plains, NY? I hear they have a couple openings in their fire department!! And one was ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF!

I wonder what their defense is going to be? They got the wrong guys, or perhaps they forgot that gas was flamable? [Roll Eyes]

No, probably they will claim, like most people, that once you dump something down the drain, it is magically *POOF* gone!!

I don't know how many people that I have interviewed while doing pollution incident investigations that have said exactly that... and they actually BELIEVE it!!!

People dump waste oil from oil changes into the local storm sewer, because once the oil is there, it is GONE!
