I've got a friend using a Mac power book, he's looking for a programme that will make the Macs DVD player region free, or a standalone player he can download that will play other regions.
He's in the UK and is having major difficulties finding anything. Any advice or recommendations they would be greatlyappreciated.
Thanks for any help

I've never tried it with a out of region dvd, but you might want to look at VLC Player I've heard a lot of good things about it.
If that won't work for you, I know you could use MacTheRipper to copy the DVD files to your hard disk and remove the region codes in transit. Then if you wanted to, you could burn them back onto another dvd. It's not a perfect solution, but it would work.
That's all the input I have, Good luck!
