Yeah, they ran plenty of ads in Feb-March announcing the switch to Intel. Why the long face?

Yeah, there were Mac ads during in Feb-March, but, I rarely see Mac ads (and think that is one reason why Mac sales are not slightly higher). The last I saw before the Intel switch ad was a Powerbook ad years ago. But, I could have missed other ads.
I was just sarcastically exaggerating in the OP.

Oh, I should have posted this last night, but, whatever; Apple is using all of its marketing muscle to take advantage of the halo effect from the popularity of iTunes and the iPod. That's why there's a ton of ads for those 2 products and not much else.

I wish I had the cash to get one of those new intel macs. I've owned macs for like fifteen years and I really miss them. The only problem I have is the cost difference. I know its worth it, especally since every mac I've owned is still working, but the PC I got just three years ago has turned into a pile of crap.

The Mac guy, whose name always escapes me, is one of my celebrity crushes. Some friends and I have a long-standing, makes-sense-to-nobody-but-us joke about him being the titular loser in a film we'll makes someday entitled Loser and Crackwhore: A Love Story.

I believe that guy is Justin Long, who some may remember from the TV show "Ed" or the movie "Dodgeball".
