Is there a way to download that music they play in the opening (when you are choosing your settings for a game) of Civilization IV? I love that song for some reason..
Anybody?

I'm not 100% sure but wouldn't it be on the disc as an MP3? I remember a game that let you add your own music and it involved just replacing the MP3s in the sound file with ones you wanted.
All this talk of Civilization makes me want to play IV again. Do you know if there's a fix for the bug that makes the game crash every time a video plays?

I love that music, too, but have no idea how to download it. Sometimes I just load the game and listen to it while I'm doing other things.
Hubert, I'm pretty sure there's a patch. I remember I had the same problem when I first bought the game, but it's fixed now.

Nice--I've got an older machine (as the game begins, it always flashes me a warning: PATHETIC MORTAL! YOUR WEAK TECHNOLOGY WILL NOT PERMIT THE GAME TO RUN AS INTENDED or some such), and the music always stutters. Good to hear what I've been missing!
ETA: I was referring to "Baba Yetu," not "Coronation" (though I like both). I didn't know that "Baba Yetu" was a Swahili version of the Lord's Prayer! Thanks for the link, Silkenrain!

Ditto! Although I believe there's a way you can put it back.
Unfortunately, I found the music during the game was slowing down my computer (and annoying me), so I turned it off - which also turned off Baba Yetu at the beginning. Haven't taken the time to find out if I can fix that.
