I know there are not many of us and the time line is short, but NeeCD, YeeMum and I will be meeting up at the Horseshoe Pub in Mulino (just South of Oregon City) around 9pm Friday.
If anyone cares to join us, you're very welcome!

Oh, I forgot about the Buckaroo. I've never been to it (and I grew up within 15 miles of Molalla), I usually just waited to go to the County Fair, since it was at the end of my street.
Come on down to Mulino, guys, the more, the merrier! (Or so I've heard )
ETA: Hambubba, I'm (almost) 5'4", so mini may be in the eyes of the beholder in this case.
I'd bus it, but I really don't know the schedual in that area and if I get a ride from the Boi, he might flip out because he doesn't know the area well enough to drive. I'll keep poking about and see what I can do. If worse comes to worse I can hitch up the cat to a Radio Flyer and mush my way over. She needs to work off her excess energy.

everyone is welcome! I'd love for it to be bigger than expected! Yeah, we'll likely be doing the buckaroo this year. How'd ya wind up judging?
You better say hi to me! I'm the real tall gal in biker leathers (realized I'd better add the biker part as our rodeo gals wear leather too!)
And a big hug back to you, M' Lady Dragon (Signora Del Drago) Wish you could be here too.

I'm going to try to make it, barring any weirdness. I'll be the shortish girl with a labret peircing, and probably my dragon tattoo (around left arm) and pawprint tattoo (right wrist) showing.

well that was too fun! NeeCD, YeeMum & J and daisyslegs and Mr. Legs - whew, I don't think it should be legal!
Funny watching NeeCD getting hit on... she's so nice she didn't want to be rude to the guy who wasn't getting the hint...
And I had no idea there was a Canuckistan fan club!
NeeCD, thanks for the note! We should probably try to do that again but I think that much fun might very well be illeagle! Hopefully we'll get to meet some others next time.

Yes, that was a good little meet we had! I need to get the recipe for the German Chocolate Cake (I'm pretty sure that's the name) - yum!
As for the guy, well, he was mostly harmless - no need to be mean to them when you can just confuse them till they wander off.
daisys, Thanks again for inviting us out, we will definitely need to do this again sometime. You're welcome for the note - I didn't want to just disappear on you.
YeeMum, glad you guys made it back safely, it was so great to get to meet you and J. Hopefully you can make it back sometime so we can have more fun.
And just remember there's no evidence, they can't prove anything!

I was sure we scared you off! What time did you leave? And did I mention I loved your car?

Thanks for the hug back at me.
I'm glad you guys had fun and made it back home safely. Any pictures to share this time?

Aw, I don't scare that easily. It was actually a pretty quiet night, all things considered. We only heard sirens once...
I think I left about 7:00, can you believe it? I was just instantly awake. I suppose I could've hung around and raided your fridge, but I decided to go ahead and take off. I napped a bit later on, just to make up some of the lost sleep. I had to look at the sun to figure out which way to turn coming onto the main road, but the drive home was nice and traffic-free. Considering how many times I've gotten stuck behind log trucks on 213, that was a real bonus.
Glad you liked the car - It was a pretty good trade in my opinion. What a great night to get a ride on a Harley, it was barely chilly (and I had some pretty good anti-freeze in me, too )
Heh, I forgot about the pics at your house - I always say I don't mind if people have pics of me, as long as I don't have to look at them.
kmcm, I'll do my best to meet up with you guys at the end of July, I've found snopes meets to be oddly addicting. I only wish I could travel to some of the distant ones. (Road Trip!)

Daisys and i are meeting at a minitruck show in Canby the last weekend in July. We haven't finalized the details yet, but i'm hoping it'll be a fun event for all. (and hopefully i wont be too hungover)

We did have a good time this last meet and I got to drive NeeCD's car while she rode with Mr. Legs on the shovelhead. And I do have plenty of room for guests at home.
ok, kmcm we need to set up the details! Isn't it the 21st - 22nd in Canby?

Just bumping this to see if there are any specific times for meeting up. I might have to be in Kaiser on that weekend to help a friend with her garage sale, but I'm going to see if I can do both.
Is the show going to be at the fairgrounds? That's just down the street from my folks' house.
ETA I'll be free Saturday, she has help for that day. So I guess I'll be seeing you then.

No, it's the 28-30th. At the Canby Rod and Gun Club. I suggest coming out on saturday, you can check out the trucks. I'll be pretty easy to find....we are one of the sponsors for the show. Just look for the booth which says StreetIssueCustoms.com, someone will know where i am, if i'm not just sitting there knitting.
I don't know what time i'll be hitting town the night before. But meeting that night could be fun as well.
It's not like a classic car show though, could be interesting for the people sick of looking at those silly corvette's and mustangs. Some of the trucks are "classic" but the sure aren't "restored to stock".

I'll be there. I don't really mind Corvettes and Mustangs, but I am a bit tired of all the look-alike paint jobs, so this should be a blast. What's a good time to meet up?

I'll be rolling into town friday, not sure what time, but we'll be setting up our camping gear and vendor booth as soon as we get there. Then we will proceed to get completely drunk.
If you come on saturday, i'd come mid-morning, like 10ish. We'll all be mostly awake and the trucks should all be set up for the show by then.
Like i said, just look for our booth, and someone will be able to find me. It should be lots of fun.
I can't wait!

So, the garage sale my friend is having was postponed (because only crazy people have garage sales when it's 100+ degrees). She moved it to the next weekend, go figure. So, once again, I'm not sure if I'll make it. I'll see what I can do. Hopefully it'll work out.
ok, kmcm, call me when you get in town, but wait till after 4pm (can't talk at work).
NeeCD, wanna go down for a little bit Friday night, say around 6:30 or 7? We'll be better behaved this time... I think...
