I don't know if this will garner any interest, but here goes.
The idea is to find the longest phrase that Google can find. So, the first player starts with one word let's say "Games". This results in 2,090,000,000 hits. The next one adds a word and does a phrase search. So, let's say second player adds "are". So, the phrase search for "Games are" results in 26,500,000. So, players keep adding words till we reach 0 results.
Remember you have to do a phrase search by adding quotes around the sentence.

Are we allowed to look at the previous hits while deciding which word to add, or is it random? Once it's down to one hit, then you could just copy the whole page that the phrase comes from as the search term...

That's a good point. I didn't think of that. I think that would technically be cheating. However, if a phrase just returns just one page, then we can declare the game to be over

They're not. UBB Code doesn't seem to like URLs with per cent signs in them. It adds the space in automatically, much to my annoyance.
