I've neither sent nor received any holiday cards. Ever. Though I may start this year, if a friend sends me one.

We got our first a couple of days ago. All of ours are written out, but I'm waiting until Saturday to mail them.

We've gotten three at the library. One today and two yesterday. The one's yesterday also included $100 donations to the library as Christmas gifts! Very nice

We got a card today, too. It was from someone who's address I didn't have, and I was happy to see it! Now I can return the holiday greeting.

I've gotten one, from one of my friends at my old church. I was afraid they'd all forgotten me; none of them seem to know how to answer emails. But at least one of them remembers me.

So, no, no actual cards yet, I guess....

I am such a slacker. I usually send mine out the Monday following Thanksgiving. I've got most of mine addressed and sitting on my table. I just haven't sent them.
And no, I haven't received any yet.

We received our first one today from my Nanna. It's the first one that hasn't been signed "Nanna and Grandad", which was quite jarring to see

I wrote all mine at the beginning of November, and I'm rather glad that I left them unsealed because my house purchase has gone through a damn sight quicker than I ever thought it was, so now I have to update them all with my new address. I'll probably get them in the post in the next couple of weeks.
I've not got any yet.

Mosh, Congratulations on the purchase of a house. (Sorry if I missed a more specific thread) Is this the first property you've owned or are you upgrading?

Thanks James I've owned property before but I was renting before I bought this one (long story) so I was kind of in a first time buyer position this time around.

We've had one Christmas card from our cleaner who comes once a week. I personally haven't had any yet,but I suspect as and when I do, it will be later on in the month.

We've got about half of our envelopes addressed but none of the cards are signed yet. After they're sealed but before I mail them I'm going to have to take one to the post office to be weighed because I strongly suspect they're going to require extra postage.

After saying [about seven times] that I've finished all my shopping... I'm headed down to the mall [again] to post off our Christmas letters and away-gifts. And then, we're done!
