Comment: I hear that Wendys is offering a free round trip flight to anywhere you want if you buy 64 drinks from them. Is this true?

Not if you're the company that will probably forever be remembered, however unfairly, for the finger in the chili. I think it's a great idea.

It doesn't do me any good. AirTran Airways doesn't come anywhere near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Posts: 306 | From: Tacoma, WA | Registered: Sep 2005

I saw the promotion the other day on my drink when I bought a meal from Wendy's. Not anything I choose to support, just for the fact that AirTran is the renamed company name for ValuJet.

Niiiiiiiiiice. Get a ticket to ride on the wings of an el-cheap-o company so verbally thrashed it changed its name from the restaurant that thinks it can buy back its customers. Yay. lol
Has anybody actually looked into how much you'd be saving by buying a crapload of drinks over just buying the danged tickets? If it was that big of a saving, I'd think Wendy's would be flooded with people ordering 64 bladder-busters through the take-out window all day long.

But they can't, because the promotion precludes it: "Limit five (5) drinks per transaction."

I flew to florida and back on Air Tran few weeks ago. I didn't have any problems, except the landings were awful. There was a layover in Atlanta, and on the way to Florida, the plane would rock during landing. This happenned both times, in Atlanta and Florida On the way back, it felt like the plane bounced a bit after landing. I can handle rocking, but bouncing is scary.
I'm glad I didn't drink 32oz of Coke on that flight

Not around here... they use different cups for water in this area because so many people ask for water cups. I guess the 12-ounce foam cups are cheaper than the regular soft drink cups.
