THE CANDLE

NOTICE AT THE END, THE DATE THE CANDLE WAS STARTED. GONNA GIVE YOU GOOSE BUMPS.

I am not going to be the one who lets it die. I
found it believable -- angels have walked beside me
all my life--and they still do.
*********************

This is to all of you who mean something to me,

I pray for your happiness.

The Candle Of Love, Hope & Friendship

This candle was lit on the
15th of September, 1998.

Someone who loves you has helped
keep it alive by sending it to you.

Don't let The Candle of Love, Hope
and Friendship die! Pass It On To All
Of Your Friends and Everyone You Love!
May God richly bless you as (sic)

Please keep this candle alive

Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Forgive my ignorance, but I did try Google to find out before posting; what is the significance of the date? Why is it supposed to 'give me goosebumps'? Is it because I'm supposed to be in awe of how long this useless tripe has been floating around cyberspace?

Maybe 9/15 is the glurger's birthday.
At first I thought this waste of server space had been around since the 9/11 atrocities.

Well, it's my birthday, but this sure would make a crappy present.

When I read the bit about goosebumps, I assumed that the date was either going to be Sept. 10, 2001 or Sept. 11, (some date before 2001). I was also confused when it turned out to be Sept. 15, as that date has no significance that I know of, but now I think that Lil' Molly guessed right, and we're supposed to be paying more attention to the year. As in, "OMG this has been going around for EIGHT WHOLE YEARS that's like forever on the Interwebs!!!!" (Why do I suddenly feel old?)

And happy belated birthday, EeyoreCorbie!

More Snape in drag. Seriously, man, that just improves any book. Like, A Tale of Two Cities? TEN TIMES BETTER if Madame Defarge is really Snape in drag with a bad knitting habit.
