I'm curious as to what, if anything, is done about registered members spamming other registered members via PM? Specifically, I got two "Nigerian scam" PM's. OK, so technically they were "from" Sierra Leone and I guess since I always get a chuckle thinking that anyone is actually fooled by these things, it wasn't the worst spam in the world. [Smile]

But it did arrive via PM from a registered member account. So what's in the works? Summary ban? Draw-and-quartering? Ten lashes with a knotted patch cable? Inquiring minds want to know! [Smile]

I would notify snopes or Barbara immediately... they'll take care of business, I assure you.

The irony of you getting Nigerian spammed by registered snopesters is just... too... awesome. [Big Grin]

The member name had "steve" in it, something like "chachasteve" (that's not it, exactly, of course). Probably why I was "targeted", I suppose.

You think that info, plus access to the dbase, is enough for her to go by?
