Don Gato, I didn't tell my partner, but as we had known each other for 30 years it would have been impossible for him to not know.

On the other hand, I'm glad he did know, because I had convinced myself that if I told the guy, presuming it was someone else, he would freak, especially considering my age.

i told my bf that it was my first time, and i think that made it better because prior to that he knew why i would freak out when things started getting a bit full on. i too was plaugued by guilt about waiting for marriage, but it was my friend who told me that guys leave if they don't get what they want. i knew deep down my bf wasn't like that but wasn't taking chances. sweetest thing is that a few months later when i was still feeling guilty and told him why he 'pretended' to marry meso that i wouldn't feel bad and be upset anymore

I was 14 and didn't even know when we were finished...yeah he was that bad.

ETA: Come to think of it, at 14 I really don't think I knew what bad was but I do remember and it's really not worth remembering.

I was 19 and more than ready. I had been curious since 13-14, but not being in a "popular" circle, a social wallflower and overweight(not too much, but definitely heavier/curvier than most young teens), there were lots of crushes but no dates or boyfriends. Ahhhh, college life and a booze cruise in Boston Harbor! We kept a 'friends with benefits' thing going on into our early 20's.
Thanks Paul, where ever you are.

I was 15, she was 16 and not a virgin. It was a warm July night. She made a man of me on a blanket in a cemetery. No we weren't goths or anything [Big Grin] , it was just a place my crowd could hang out and drink beer without being bothered by the cops.

I had no idea what I was doing, and she was very patient in showing me what to do. I supposed I wasn't THAT bad, since we stayed together for about a year afterward.

I was a few months shy of my 23rd birthday and the only reason I did it was to get it out of the way so I wouldn't be a virgin anymore. Maybe not the best reason to do it but I going through a very rough time and feeling very awkward about dating in the "real world" after my college boyfriend dumped me. I felt like a freak and didn't see any reason to wait since no one else my age seemed to be waiting.

Sometimes I feel bad about it, but then I realise it was actually a better "gift" for the love of my life than my virginity would have been. I felt much more comfortable with him our first time together than I would have been if I kept waiting!
